Both of our children attend Nelson Avenue Daycare and are now 4 and 6. Having experienced both the Daycare and School Age Care programs, I am consistantly impressed with the variation in the activities which are available. For the Daycare, activities and learning centres change on a regular basis as does the classroom set up. This keeps things fresh and keeps the kids on their toes in terms of what is available for them to play with. With the school age program, the inculsion of professional days, March break and the availabilitiy of camps in the summer has been great for creating consistency in our morning routines. We start each day by going to Nelson Avenue. When asked what my daughter's favorite thing about Nelson Avenue was, she said it was the different theme days for summer and professional days... how can you not get excited when you get to go bowling, make cool crafts, have wheels day and see magicians. I have been very pleased with the care, the staff and learning opportunities my children have had while attending Nelson Avenue. So very happy with our choice to leave them in their care.
